Margo Thomas, Board President
Margo Thomas joined the Round Barn Daycare board of directors in 2013 and currently serves as the chairperson. Before retiring, Margo had a 29 year career with the Greencastle schools, serving at various times as the librarian in each of the five Greencastle schools. She believes strongly in the importance of early childhood education and is concerned about the need for quality child care programs. Margo is proud of the way the Round Barn staff work to provide a safe, loving home away from home for Putnam County families.

Diana Meo, Board Member
Diana Meo has served the field of special education for over 25 years in many roles from teacher, educational coordinator, assistant director, and director.  She is currently employed by South Putnam Community School Corporation as their Preschool teacher.  She loves the field of education and enjoys discovering how young minds learn.
Diana has lived in Putnam County since 2000.  She moved to the area because her husband, Bill Tobin, is employed by DePauw University.  They have one child, Emma Tobin, who is in her first year at College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
This is Diana's first year on the board of Round Barn Daycare, and she looks forward to the opportunity.  She believes daycares should support the entire child; forming positive relationships with families is an important element to the success of any program serving children.
Shelby Aguirre, Director
Shelby joined our team as director in July, 2020. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. Prior to being the director at Round Barn Daycare and Preschool, she taught first grade for two years. When she is not at the daycare, you can find her at home with her husband and three cats.
Wes Kendall, Pastor
Wes Kendall has been the pastor at Greencastle Presbyterian Church since 2009, and he and his family feel especially grateful to be tied into this community so deeply.  His own appreciation and passion for childcare stems from his own experiences growing up and the wonderful care providers who were there for him and his single mom.  Wes also believes in the importance of ongoing connection and support for healthy teams to thrive, and he has loved seeing Round Barn striving for greater quality in its ability to care for kids and our local families.  This is such an important ministry, and he is just so thankful for all those who pour their hearts and souls into this work, especially from Round Barn's director and staff.
