Serving Families in Greencastle and Putnam County
Round Barn Preschool and Daycare is a non-profit childcare center located and run by Greencastle Presbyterian Church. Greencastle Presbyterian Church opened Round Barn Preschool and Daycare as a way to serve the families of Greencastle and Putnam County. Round Barn has it's own security code protected entrance at the north side of the church building.
In 2019, Round Barn Preschool and Daycare was awarded the designation of a Level 3 Childcare Center on the Paths to Quality Rating Program. This means that Round Barn Preschool and Daycare demonstrates excellence in the areas of safety, curriculum, classroom environments and teacher qualifications.

Basics of the Program at Round Barn
The mission of Round Barn Daycare is to minister to our community by providing affordable, quality child care to families and their children.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM until 5:30 PM. Holidays and closures are posted in advance to help you plan your schedule. Families are expected to send a lunch with their child.
Round Barn Program Philosophy: Round Barn Daycare provides a developmentally-based program in an environment designed for young children. We believe that quality child care facilitates the healthy growth and development of the ‘whole’ child. This means that our program supports development in multiple domains, including intellectual, physical, social and emotional development. To accomplish this, Round Barn Daycare utilizes the Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards for Young Children 0-5 to guide learning experiences and to prepare children for kindergarten.
Tuition Vouchers: Our program is approved to accept CCDF vouchers for reduced child care tuition. If you have already been approved for a voucher, we would love to set up a facility tour and review the enrollment process. You can access additional information qualifying and applying for the voucher program at the Indiana Office of Early Childhood.
Our Staff: All staff have high school diplomas and many have continued with additional education in early childhood development. All staff members complete CPR training and background checks to ensure the safety of your child.
